Question:  Regarding the Family Camp Grounds laundry room: it has had inoperative washers and dryers for months and months and months.

When you question whether they've been repaired they say, "Yep, they've been repaired but they break the same day and there's no warranty."

Right now it's down two dryers, a dryer that works very well and one that hardly works. We have three washers, one of which does not have any hot water.

We have a lot of people coming in needing to wash their clothes. This facility gets away with it because people come through here and don't stay long. We stayed here a year ago and the same washer and dryers weren't working then. We're here now and they're still not working.

Answer:  Thank you for expressing your concerns about the condition of the washers and dryers at the FamCamp. These machines have received much heavier use than originally anticipated, so we have ordered four commercial-grade washers and dryers to replace the current machines.

These machines should be in place by mid-November. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and hope you will be happy with the new machines
