Evaluators from the Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, Brooks City-Base, Texas, presented scenarios to test the Kirtland AFB Bioenvironmental Management Flight's ability to respond to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high yield explosive incidents.

They tested bioenvironmental management's ability to use their homeland defense equipment and supply allowance which is standard to all home station bioenvironmental engineering flights.

This is in preparation for Air Force-level competition that will take place In May at the National Center for Response in West Virginia. The week of exercises was a prerequisite for determining the response team that will represent Air Force Materiel Command. It included five scenarios -- one table top and four base-wide response exercises.
