Gerardo Ventura Chairman, Kirtland Top 3 publicity committee Kirtland Air Force Base -- If you want to make a difference in your community, hone your leadership skills or meet other professionals with similar interests, you might want to look at the professional organizations on Kirtland AFB. Professional organizations exist to enhance esprit de corps and improve our community through leadership involvement, mentorship and other valuable contributions. By participating in a professional organization, you will have unique opportunities to interact with and learn from seasoned leaders, gain valuable experience and stay apprised of what's happening in your Air Force. Just to name a few, the Rising 6 is a professional organization for Airmen in the ranks of Airman basic through technical sergeant. If you're a senior noncommissioned officer, you should consider becoming a member of the Kirtland Top 3 or the 58th Special Operations Wing Top 3. If you want your voice heard on the Hill, feel strongly about advocating a change in Air Force benefits or just feel like supporting an organization that does, then the Air Force Sergeants Association is for you.
