There will be an Individual Ready Reserve Muster on Kirtland Air Force Base from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, April 23.

The event takes place in the Consolidated Support Building.

The IRR is a manpower pool consisting of individuals who have been trained and previously served in the active force or the Selected Reserve.

They separated before completing their eight-year military service obligation, which is required under federal law based on initial date of uniform service.

This annual event ensures IRR personnel are informed of benefits and entitlements as they continue to serve in that status. Attendees will receive briefings from the Air Reserve Personnel Center, Veterans Affairs and the Air Force Reserve recruiter.

Representatives from the Military Personnel Section (Identification cards), Security Forces (Pass & Registration - DBIDS) and Medical Group will be present to assist during the muster.
