Kirtland AFB to host outdoor movie

Kirtland Air Force Base, NM --  The 377th Air Base Wing presents "Movie Under the Stars" July 8 at Hardin Field. The free event features "How to Train Your Dragon," starting at dusk.

"This is an opportunity to spend a fun evening with family and friends," said Chrisan Smith, Family Advocacy Outreach Program Manager. "It is reminiscent of the old drive-in theaters, when going to the movies was as much about community and being together as what movie was showing."

Free popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, water and juice boxes will be available. People are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. Pets and smoking are not allowed.
