Attic to give away toys

Kirtland Air Force Base, NM -- Toys, books and board games collected during the Holiday Toy Drive will be handed out Saturday to Airmen, E-5 and below, at 10 a.m. at the Airman's Attic. Toys will be given away until they are gone.

The toy drive, sponsored by the Airman's Attic and the First Sergeants Council, began Nov. 16. Since then, Team Kirtland Airmen, family members and friends have donated a variety of new and gently used toys -- from skateboards and scooters to dolls and stuffed animals -- toward the cause.

The last chance to donate toys to the holiday drive is today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Airman's Attic.

Erika Rafan, Airman's Attic assistant director, encourages anyone interested in helping out during tomorrow's toy giveaway to arrive at the Airman's Attic at 9 a.m.
