377th Medical Group family practice and pediatric empanelments Published Dec. 12, 2012 By 377th Medical Group KIRTLAND AFB, N.M. -- This year has seen a lot of changes to the staffing in the 377th Medical Group's Primary Care Clinics. The summer permanent change of station cycle saw the Family Practice Clinic become fully staffed. The Family Practice Clinic is open to enrollment for active duty family members aged 16 and older, retirees, and retired family members aged 16 and older. The Pediatrics Clinic has seen a decrease in the number of providers this year and has only one pediatrician. The 377 MDG is committed to providing the best care possible for the pediatric beneficiaries enrolled in the Medical Group. Children 10 and older have been transferred to the Family Practice Clinic for their health care. The Family Practitioners are well qualified to care for children and have been very supportive of the changes to ensure we continue to provide great care to the pediatric population. New enrollment for pediatric patients under the age of 16 is currently closed. In 2013, patients will be screened prior to enrollment for the Internal Medicine Clinic to ensure the 377 MDG can meet medical needs. The 377 MDG anticipates a return to full Pediatric staffing by summer and maintaining Family Practice staffing. The 377 MDG is committed to providing excellent care for all beneficiaries.
