Kirtland AFB welcomes AFMC IG Published Feb. 14, 2013 By By Col. John Kubinec 377th Air Base Wing commander KIRTLAND AFB, N.M. -- Kirtland Air Force Base welcomes the Air Force Materiel Command Inspector General Team for the Compliance Inspection, Logistics Compliance Assessment Program Inspection, and Health Services Inspection. Through dedication and commitment, self-inspections and attention to detail in our daily operations, we have polished our programs and refined our processes to a high state of readiness and effectiveness. I am confident that the inspectors will validate what we already know - we are ready to perform our assigned missions in a safe, secure and reliable manner, whenever and wherever called upon. Remember - first impressions count. Treat the inspections as your top priority: show a sense of urgency; maintain a positive and professional attitude; and always keep in mind that what we do is a team effort. The inspections are our opportunity to prove what we do best - conducting nuclear operations; organizing, training, equipping and deploying expeditionary combat forces; and operating, securing and supporting Kirtland AFB. To the men and women of the 377th Air Base Wing: you're ready for this! Allow your pride, professionalism and positive attitude to shine for our guests from the Inspector General, just like you do for Team Kirtland every day. I'm proud to be a part of your team and honored to serve with such professionals.
