Officials announce incoming commander

Col. John C. Kubinec, 377th Air Base Wing and installation commander, has been selected for reassignment as vice commander of the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker AFB, Okla., Air Force officials announced last week.

Replacing Kubinec will be Col. Tom D. Miller, currently the deputy commander for maintenance, Ogden Air Logistics Complex, Hill AFB, Utah.

Miller, a distinguished graduate of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps, has served in a variety of logistics and maintenance positions at the squadron, wing and headquarters levels and has deployed in support of various operations overseas. He has served on both the Air Staff and the Joint Staff and is a designated Joint Qualified Officer. He is also Level II certified in life cycle logistics.

A change of command ceremony is planned for July 11 at 9 a.m.
