Wyoming Gate Visitors Center to close July 8 Published July 2, 2013 By 377th Air Base Wing Public Affairs KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Beginning July 8, the 377th Security Forces Squadron will be consolidating visitors center operations, to include a change in hours of operation. The biggest change will be the permanent closure of the Wyoming Gate Visitors Center. Those needing assistance should visit the visitors center at the Truman or Gibson gate, or the Innovation Parkway Office Complex. Base access passes and DBIDS registration can be obtained at the Main Office in the Consolidated Support Building, open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Truman Gate Visitors Center, open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., or the Gibson Gate Visitors Center, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The contractor office at the Truman Gate is open 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for background checks for pass requests, and to issue visitor passes. The IPOC, located in Room 1584 at 1611 Innovation Parkway, will be open 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to accommodate Department of Energy and Sandia personnel. To submit a Base Access List, visit the Pass and Registration Office in the Consolidated Support Building or email the list to sheena.ryland@kirtland.af.mil. A BAL must have at least 10 names and should be submitted at least three business days in advance.
