Civil servant retires after 43 years of service
Joseph Nevins, 58th Maintenance Group deputy director, is given his retirement pin by his wife Lisa at Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., Jan. 3, 2019. Nevins served his country both as an Airman and as a civil servant with nearly 43 years of service. Nevins has served as the 58th Maintenance Group deputy director here from 2004-2019, where he directed and integrated the efforts of 936 personnel supporting the execution of a 12,000 hour annual flying program for the Air Education and Training Command formal aircrew training schools for special forces and air rescue personnel.
