William Edwin Dyess flew a P-40E Warhawk during his time in the Army Air Corps. “Kibash” was the name for his assigned aircraft and was the last original combat aircraft on the Bataan Peninsula, just before the surrender. “Kibosh” was responsible for flying the U.S.’s last combat sortie from Bataan.
