AFOTEC Bataan Memorial Death March Team
Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center team members participated in the 34th Annual Bataan Memorial Death March held at White Sands Missile Range, N.M. The more than 26-mile march is held annually to commemorate service members who defended the Philippine Islands during World War II. Some of the AFOTEC team members included (left to right) Maj. KC-46 Test Team and Crew
(Far right) CMSgt. Christopher Griste, Command Chief, Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center, visits McConnell AFB, Kan., to fly a mission on the KC-46A with McConnell’s 22nd Air Refueling Wing and AFOTEC Detachment 5’s lead test boom operator MSgt. Kyle Vanderwagen. The KC-46A is the first phase in recapitalizing the U.S. Air Force's aging tanker fleet. With greater refueling, cargo and aeromedical evacuation capabilities compared to the KC-135, the KC-46A will provide aerial refueling support to Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and partner-nation receivers.
