Kirtland AFB Tax Center open through April 12

KIRTLAND AFB, N.M. --  The Kirtland AFB Tax Center will be open from Feb. 5 to April 12 to provide free tax-filing services to eligible customers.

Hours of operation will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, by appointment and as walk-ins.

The Tax Center is in the Consolidated Support Building, between the Military Personnel Section and the Defense Biometric Identification System office.

Volunteers will prepare tax returns for E-6s and below, O-3s and below, and retirees with gross income of $60,000 and below.

During the first two weeks in February, services will be limited to E-4s and below with simple returns (no itemized deductions).
