377th LRS receives Logistics Effectiveness Award

The 377th Logistics Readiness Squadron was selected for the 2013 Air Force Materiel Command Daedalian Maj. Gen. Warren R. Carter Logistics Effectiveness Award Non-Flying Squadron.

The Daedalian Foundation's Logistics Effectiveness Award, first awarded in 1962, is presented annually to the United States Air Force unit at base level selected by the chief of staff as having achieved the best supply effectiveness record in the Air Force in support of mission aircraft and/or weapons.

Four individuals were the overall AFMC logistics readiness winners who will compete at Headquarters Air Force:
  • Master Sgt. Hugo Rodriguez - Vehicle Operations SNCO of the Year
  • Senior Airman Joshua P. Krahenbuhl - Vehicle Management Airman of the Year
  • Larry Woodring - Transportation Civilian Supervisor of the Year
  • Lt. Col Andre Johnson - Logistics Field Grade Officer of the Year
Five additional award winners were announced from Kirtland:
  • Senior Airman Michael Sawdy - Logistics Plans Airman of the Year
  • Staff Sgt. Jameel Tyson - Logistics Plans NCO of the Year
  • Senior Airman Adam Blakelock - Air Transportation Airman of the Year
  • Tech. Sgt. Richard Haacker - Traffic Management NCO of the Year
  • Tech. Sgt. Dennis A. Zemialkowski - Vehicle Operations NCO of the Year
