Name: Tech. Sgt. Trevor Smith

Unit: 58th Maintenance Group

Duty Title: Helicopter-Tiltrotor Maintenance Craftsman

Hometown: Duluth, Minn.

Goals: One class left to complete CCAF; graduate from Univeristy of New Mexico; promote to master sergeant.

Accomplishments: Smith has worked on the flightline for 12 years. He started working on the MH-53 Pavelow at Hurlburt AFB, Fla., then the HH-60G Pavehawk at Kadena AB and RAF Lakenheath, and finally the CV-22 Tiltrotor here.  As a quality assurance inspector, he evaluates the quality of maintenance for more than 700 personnel who directly support 37 different airframes assigned to the 58th Special Operations Wing. Early 2013, he was selected as an IG Inspector for Hurlburt Field's LCAP/ORI. Shortly after, he graduated from the NCO Academy at Lackland AFB, Texas. He recently received the 58th MXG NCO of the Quarter award.
