MVC to offer trivia night

KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Legend has it that pub quizzes are an excellent opportunity for friends to get together and prove once and for all who is smarter.

You can find out if this is true every Thursday, when trivia night will be hosted by the Mountain View Club.

"We try to offer a wide variety of events here at the Mountain View Club. Hosting a pub quiz night appeals to a wide audience and encourages healthy competition among friends that like to eat, drink and socialize," said Alma Alumbaugh, Mountain View Club manager.

Teams of four to six will compete against each other in round after round of fun trivia questions with topics ranging from geography to pop culture, past presidents to current fashion trends.

There will be a selection of "end zone munchies" to snack on, a rotating blue plate special and specials on Odell 90 Shilling Ale and Isotopes Blonde Ale.
