News Briefs Published Jan. 22, 2007 KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, NEW MEXICO -- Base closures impact testing If the base commander declares delayed reporting due to inclement weather, the testing period will also be delayed for the same amount of time for WAPS, AFCT, AFOQT, DLAB, DLPT and EDPT testing. For instance, if testing is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. and there is a two-hour delay, testing will begin at 9:30 a.m. the same day. Kirtland members win AFMC awards Capt. Erik N. Dunn, 377th Air Base Wing, was awarded the Financial Analysis Officer of the Year award for Air Force Materiel Command. Gloria M. Besse, 377th ABW, was awarded the Financial Analysis Civilian of the Year award. Captain. Dunn and Ms. Besse will now move on to compete at the Air Force level. LRS offers courtesy vehicle inspections The 377th Logistics Readiness Squadron Vehicle Management will offer courtesy vehicle inspections for nuclear certified vehicles and Humvees today and Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the vehicle management compound located at 8552 I Ave., Building 20341. This inspection will focus on proper documentation, serviceability, safety and cleanliness. This will ensure vehicles meet safety and serviceable standards and are ready to impress inspectors. Please bring all vehicle records so they can be looked over as well.
