New Mexico active duty license plate available

The Junior Force Council has completed its year-long journey to create an active-duty license plate for the State of New Mexico. The plate will be entering full production in the next few weeks and the form is up on the Internet.

Due to the work of the JFC and pairing with New Mexico state Sen. Richard C. Martinez, the plate was created to recognize the contributions made by our active duty military.

To apply for one of these special license plates, follow this link: www.tax.state.nm.us/forms/mvd/mvd11267.pdf.

Active Duty servicemembers should submit a black and white copy of their ID or military orders to prove their status. The plate costs an additional $27.
