Red Cross classes being offered

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico --  The Mid-Rio Grande Chapter of the American Red Cross is offering a variety of courses, including a wilderness first aid course. 

Other courses include first aid, CPR/AED, bloodborne pathogen prevention, oxygen administration, pet first aid, babysitter's boot camp, life guard and several courses which train students to become course instructors. 

There is a fee for most classes, although there is a course on preparing for emergencies and disasters, which is free. For more information on class schedules and fees, call 265-8514, extension 23, or visit the Web site at www.redcrossalbq.org.
