DHS presented Ronald MacRall from DTRA's Research and Development Enterprise with the Secretary's Award for Team DHS Excellence Nov. 20, in Washington, D.C. This is one of the DHS Secretary's most prestigious awards as it recognizes outstanding team achievements by employees working in a group to advance the mission of the Department of Homeland Security. "I want to express my sincere appreciation for the support Mr. MacRall provided to the program," said Julian G. Hill, Systems Engineering and Evaluation Assistant Director at the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office in the DHS. "The successful completion of the campaign is directly attributable to the efforts of Ron MacRall. We could not have succeeded without his leadership and expertise on this important test campaign." Mr. MacRall, who has been with the DTRA Albuquerque office since 2006, served as the test group director for the test campaign working as part of the DNDO test team. The test series was a first of its kind and evaluated radiological and nuclear detection systems in a maritime environment.
