Assumption of command Monday Published Dec. 16, 2011 By 377th Air Base Wing Public Affairs 377th Air Base Wing Public Affairs Kirtland Air Force Base, NM -- The 377th Air Base Wing assumption of command ceremony will be Monday, with Col. John C. Kubinec taking charge in Hangar 333 at 10 a.m. Kubinec previously served as the vice commander of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center at Robins Air Force Base, Ga. He is a career aircraft/munitions maintenance officer and has held numerous maintenance leadership positions spanning five different major commands, including command at the squadron and group levels. His staff positions include the Air Force Intern Program, service as the chief of the Air Force Materiel Command Commander's Action Group, and as the Logistics Panel Chair. Kubinec has also commanded the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Group in Southwest Asia.
