Base multimedia to reduce services Published Sept. 7, 2012 By Carl Grusnick 377th Air Base Wing Public Affairs KIRTLAND AFB, N.M. -- Budget constraints have required Kirtland AFB officials to re-evaluate services provided by the base multimedia office. According to Marie Vanover, Team Kirtland Public Affairs director, multimedia services will be reduced effective Sept. 15. Reductions in services will include the following: All graphics products and services, such as design, mounting, lamination and artwork reproduction, will be eliminated. Studio photography appointments will be available Tuesdays through Thursdays, limited to official passports, citizenship documents, special-duty assignment applications and Isolated Personnel Reports. General officer and wing/group commander official portrait service will continue. All other official photos of military members will be accomplished on a space-available basis, and customers must provide their own CDs. Location photography will be limited to images directly supporting the base newspaper. Alert photography service will continue as required by Air Force Instructions.
