Registration open for “Efficient Running” seminar Published July 8, 2013 By Health and Wellness Center KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- The Kirtland Health and Wellness Center is sponsoring an "Efficient Running" seminar July 19 from 7 to 9 a.m. The seminar is free, with registration open to all base personnel. Reservation is required; the first 125 people responding to an e-invite will be enrolled. The seminar covers aerobic development, running form, injury prevention, how to improve performance. Participants will report to the base theater in running clothes at 7 a.m. for a presentation, and will then travel to the Road Runner Track located at Fitness Center for additional instruction. The seminar will be conducted by Lt. Col. Antonio Eppolito, an 18-year member of the Air Force running team and a five-time Air Force Masters Half-Marathon champion.
