Chief Master Sergeant JOHN J. COYLE IV

Chief Master Sergeant John J. Coyle IV is the Senior Enlisted Leader for The Inspection Agency, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. He is the primary advisor to the commander for all matters concerning readiness, professional development, health, morale, welfare and quality of life for 170 military and civilian Airmen. The agency consists of a diverse team of subject matter experts who provide independent reviews, inspections, evaluations, oversight, training, and analysis to advance continuous improvement of mission effectiveness at all Air and Space Force levels. As the Air Force Inspection System’s action arm for the Secretary of the Air Force, the Inspection Agency identifies deficiencies and recommends improvements required to accomplish all peacetime, wartime, medical, and nuclear deterrence missions.

Chief Coyle enlisted in March 2003 and graduated from Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice Course, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas in October 2003. He began his career as an Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. His background includes various duties in the aircraft maintenance career field. He has deployed in support of worldwide contingency and combat operations including Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, FREEDOM’S SENTINEL, and INHERENT RESOLVE.

Prior to his current position, Chief Coyle served as Senior Enlisted Leader, 5th Reconnaissance Squadron, 9th Operations Group, 9th Reconnaissance Wing, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea.
