Troops to teachers Published July 20, 2012 By 377th Air Base Wing Public Affairs KIRTLAND AFB, N.M. -- The Kirtland AFB Education Center is hosting a Troops to Teachers seminar at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 1 in Room 117. Troops to Teachers is a U.S. Department of Education and Department of Defense program that helps eligible military personnel begin a new career as teachers. A free lunch will be provided.
