News briefs, Feb. 9 Published Feb. 8, 2007 KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, NEW MEXICO -- Testing achievements The following individuals have scored a 90 percent or above on career development tests for the month of January. Staff Sgt. Richard B. Walker 58th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Senior Airman Crissy I. Sharpe 377th Medical Group Airman 1st Class Seth A. Fouts 58th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Finance office closes The 377th Air Base Wing Finance Office will be closed Feb. 16 for an Air Force Materiel Command family day. ID section closes The base identification card section will be closed and unable to issue ID cards from Feb. 14-16 for upgrade, maintenance and training on new hardware and software that will be installed. The 150th Fighter Wing, here, and the Army National Guard site, Roswell, N.M., will be operating during normal duty hours. These offices have limited capability and are asking customers to call before visiting. Contact the fighter wing at 846-7359 and the Army National Guard site at 505-347-3500. Legal office closes The legal office will be closed Feb. 22 for an official function. The tax center will remain open for normal hours. Any questions can be answered at 846-4217. School to World offers career ideas The annual School to World convention will be held March 10 for New Mexico eighth and ninth graders at the Albuquerque Convention Center from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. School to World is held as a career exploration for children with career presenters representing over 150 career fields.
