A new motor vehicle policy introduces a 30-day suspension of driving privileges for being found at fault in a vehicle accident coupled with any moving violation, or simply two moving violations within a 60-day period. Any three of the above within 90 days will also result in a 60-day suspension. If a motorist is cited for reckless driving, he or she will receive a six-month suspension on the first offense. The policy becomes effective Jan. 1.
