The 377th Air Base Wing Weapons Safety Office at Kirtland Air Force Base earned a significant milestone by winning the Chief of Safety Team Weapons Safety Award at the Department of the Air Force level. Comprised of five civilians and one enlisted member, Kirtland's Weapon Safety team triumphed over nine other MAJCOMS to secure this prestigious honor. This achievement marks Kirtland's Weapons Safety Office first-ever award at the DAF level, showcasing their dedication to excellence and commitment to representing Kirtland Air Force Base in the best possible manner.
