Caring for people forum calls for participants
The event is an opportunity for Airmen and their families to voice concerns or suggestions on Air Force policy and support services. Participants may include Air Force military members, to include Reserve and Guard members, from across the base, single Airmen, family members, families with special needs, Air Force retirees and teens.
Topic groups will include:
Family readiness and deployment support
School (school age children) support
Single Airman support
Special needs (EFMP)
Guard/Reserve support
Housing/dorms
Spouse support
Health and wellness, including the physical, spiritual, mental and social domains
Substance abuse and interpersonal relationships
Participants will be asked to identify concerns with policy and community support issues and brainstorm possible solutions. They will receive guidance through the process by volunteers who will facilitate each of the nine working groups. Recorders will take notes and subject-matter experts will be available to answer questions in each area.
Make your voice heard and positively contribute to the quality of life for military members and their families. The forum results will allow wing commanders the opportunity to create visible improvements in specific areas that affect their communities daily.
To participate, request a Caring for People Forum Registration form by emailing teresa.reinhard@kirtland.af.mil or calling 846-6427. Return or email the form to Teresa Reinhard by March 26.
