The 377 MDG Main Clinic Pharmacy has launched a new over-the-counter medication program for all empaneled patients.  The goal of the new OTC program is to eliminate the need to be seen by a provider for common cold symptoms, select other over the counter treatable conditions, and offer a means to receive OTC medications at no cost to patients.

Eligible members include:  active duty, dependents 2 years or older, or a retired member seen by a 377 MDG provider.  The OTC medication categories are:  allergy, fever, headache, cough, constipation, rashes, yeast infection, acid reflux, and dry eyes.  If you are interested in using the OTC program, a questionnaire must be completed.  The pharmacist will evaluate the patient questionnaire, review your current symptoms, and dispense the proper OTC medication.

The OTC program is currently being offered only at the Main Clinic Pharmacy.  Questionnaires are available at the Family Health Clinic front desk or at the Main Clinic Pharmacy.  Patients can be provided a questionnaire from the pharmacy by selecting the “OTC Program” button at the Main Clinic Pharmacy check-in kiosk.

For any questions regarding the OTC program, contact the Main Clinic Pharmacy at 505-846-3131 or stop by to talk with any pharmacy staff member.
